Mothers Day Luncheon at Church
On 7th May 2017 a wonderful Mothers Day Luncheon was prepared by the Church Ancillary body with the help of community volunteers, to celebrate these special ladies in our lives. A delicious kebab lunch was served with some lovely entertainment from our Church community.

St. Shenouda Monastery Retreat
From Sunday 19 to Wednesday 22 March 2017, His Grace Bishop Haigazoun Najarian led a retreat of Diocese clergy for the first time to St Shenouda Monastery Coptic Orthodox Monastery in Putty, NSW.
Eve of the Great Lent
On Sunday 26 February 2017, following the Divine Liturgy, the Church celebrated Poon Paregentan. Also known as the “feast of kindness”, it is a day of festivity or good living that precedes the start of Lent on Monday 27th February.

On 25th February 2017, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Haigazoun Najarian, ACYA organised another wonderful evening to celebrate the Feast of Soorp Sarkis at The Pyrmont Bridge Hotel
Supreme Spiritual Council Meeting
His Grace Bishop Haigazoun Najarian attended the Supreme Spritual Council Meeting at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin this month held from March 7-9 under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. The yearly reports for 2016 were presented.
Scholarship Awarded & Students’ Blessing Service
2016 graduates of the Higher School Certificate were invited to the Church of Holy Resurrection on Sunday 19 March 2017, to take part in a blessing ceremony offered by His Grace Bishop Haigazoun Najarian as they embark on their future path of tertiary studies, trade or work life.
