On Sunday 26 February 2017, following the Divine Liturgy, the Church celebrated Poon Paregentan. Also known as the “feast of kindness”, it is a day of festivity or good living that precedes the start of Lent on Monday 27th February. Lunch was served on a sun-filled day under the canopy of marquess as congregants settled down for an afternoon of entertainment, games and a children’s costume parade.
Thank you to all who participated and to all the volunteers who made this event such a successful day which now begins a new tradition in our Church
