Guest celebrant and homilist , His Grace Bishop Nareg Berberian commemorated the Discovery of the Holy Cross on 27 October 2024 at the Holy Resurrection Church.
He was led into the church in a process to the entrance with the hymn Hrashapar.
On Wednesday 23 October 2024, Bishop Nareg Berberian, the Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Brazil, arrived in Sydney where he was welcomed by Reverend Father Avetis Hambardzumyan, the Chairman of the Diocese Mr. Sarkis Der Bedrosian, the Honorary Chairman of the Parish Council of Holy Resurrection Church Mr. Bedtros Zorlu, and the Chairman Mr. Zaven Yaghljian. Bishop Najarian was escorted to the Church of the Holy Resurrection where he was welcomed by His Eminence Archbishop Haigazoun Najarian, members of the Parish Council and deacons.
An evening service was held with the participation of Reverend Fathers Archpriest Norayr Patanian and Bartev Karakashian after which the Ladies Guild hosted the Bishop and those present in the Diocesan Centre.
