On Friday 18 October 2019, a Tribute Concert dedicated to the great Komitas took place, on the 150th anniversary of his birth.
The concert featured  The Armenian String Quartet, specially invited from Armenia for this event, under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Haigazoun Najarian.
Astghik Vardanyan (1st violin), Razmik Hovhannisyan (2nd violin), Vahagn Yeghishyan (viola) and Hakob Atyan (cello) put together a breathtaking program that entertained the attendees at the Concourse Concert Hall in Chatswood.
The concert was a joint presentation by the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Australia and New Zealand as well as the Regional Committee of the Hamazkaine Armenian Educational & Cultural Society of Australia
