On Saturday 29 July 2017, the celebratory mood was high as the evening of the 60th Anniversary Gala Ball unfolded at The Intercontinental Hotel Double Bay The guests were mesmerised by the opening performance of the Luys Vocal Quintet. They gave us a glimpse of a truly magical sound and left us all looking forward to the concert on 6 August at our Lady Of Dolours Catholic Church. Following Bishop Haigazoun Najarian’s heartfelt address reflecting on the Church’s past 60 years and the visions for the future, the party continued into the night with the guests dancing to the sounds of Karnig and Hovig. A wonderful slideshow accompanied the evening with memories of the past 60 years. The Luys Quintet closed off the Gala with a last song leaving the guests in awe of their beautiful harmonies
