“United in God’s light, we are Unstoppable”.
Songs for our Soldiers premiered on Sunday 9 August 2020 at the Armenian Apostolic Church of Holy Resurrection under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Haigazoun Najarian.
The concert was a collaboration between ACYA Sydney and Marianna Poghosyan to raise money for the families in Tavush who have been affected by the recent outbreak of hostility at the border.
Our community once again came together selflessly to support those in need, including Masha Mnjoyan, Sako Dermenjian, Zela Margossian Quintet, Manouk Kotoyan, Boghos Keleshian, Lilit, Kayaneh and Arkeena Mouradian, Isabelle Marcarian, Lucy Krjalian, Ilda Zorlu, Lucy Amirzaian, Marina Avagyan Tchaprazian and the Armenian Apostolic Church Sunday School.
A special thanks to Father Avetis Hambardzumyan for overseeing the initiative and helping to bring it all together.
