Poon Paregentan was celebrated on the Church lawns after the Divine Liturgy on Sunday 11 February 2018.
The word Paregentan means “good living” or “good life”, as we are called to live cheerfully, joyfully, and to be happy on these days preceding fasting periods.
A wonderful afternoon of fun and enjoyment was had including a costume parade by the children as well as games, dancing, singing and jokes by all who attended.
Many thanks to the ladies of the ACLA as well as the Sunday School who provided the food and entertainment on the day.
