The official opening and blessing of the Children’s Playground on the church grounds at 10 Macquarie Street Chatswood took place after the church service, on Sunday 20 August 2023.
Following the blessing of the Playground, our church youth group, ACYA Sydney prepared a special Armenian barbecue for all to enjoy.
The Playground has been a major ongoing project for the past two years with stages of completion made possible by the NSW Government Community Building Grant, the dedicated sponsors and volunteers who helped to see this project come to fruition.
Whilst it has enhanced the use of this area, the Playground has more so benefitted the children’s programs of the church. It truly is a celebration of joy for the Parish Council as the children of our community enjoy this area.
