Presided by His Eminence Archbishop Najarian, on 18 December 2020, the Diocese hosted the launch of Archpriest Reverend Father Norayr Patanian’s book titled “Guidelines for Right Living”, a selection of his writings from the monthly Church magazine Looyce.

Since his arrival in Sydney and ordination as a priest over 35 years ago, Father Patanian has been devoted to the ongoing publication and distribution of Looyce which was first published in 1955. As editor, his personal writings have reflected moral values of respect, love, service, introspection, and uplifting guidance for awareness in daily life based on Godly wisdom.

The concept of a collation of the editorials into a volume was conceived and published under the patronage of Dr and Mrs Artin and Maro Jebejian.

On the evening the book was presented by Diocesan Chancellor, Deacon Nishan Basmajian who highlighted the intrinsic virtues in the writings of Father Patanian and concluded the idea of publishing such a book immortalises man, a project that Dr Jebejian undertook with gratitude, to whom we are all grateful for the depth of consciousness and respect for culture.

All  proceeds from the book benefit the Artsakh Outreach Appeal.
