On Sunday 25 September 2022, the Holy Resurrection Church joined sister parishes around the world offering “Hanrabedagan Maghtank” as we prayed for peace in the Republic of Armenia.
On this day of the Commemoration of the Feast of the Holy Cross of Varak, St Hripsime’s gift of the Cross reminds us that during times of adversity and upheaval, the Holy Cross has been the most powerful support for the Armenian flock of Christ.
As is customary on this feastday, the blessings of Soorp Kevork took place for those named Kevork or George.
The youth then lit candles and joined the clergy for blessings and prayers to our Almighty Lord for peace and solace in our Homeland.
