On Sunday 15 May 2022, twenty eight days after Easter Sunday, the Armenian church celebrates the Feast of the Apparition of the Holy Cross. The Apparition of the Holy Cross over Jeruslam was said to be a true testimony of the Orthodox faith of Christianity.
This special service commenced with the Antasdan service, where the four corners of the church are blessed as a sign of the sanctification of the world. Archpriest Father Bartev Karakashian was the celebrant for the Divine Liturgy as well as the homilist. During this period of Hinoonk, Father Bartev spoke of each of the Sundays after Easter, with the Feast of the Apparition being the last feastday before Hampartsoum.
