His Grace Bishop Haigazoun Najarian returned to Sydney with Diocesan Chairman and Vice-Chair, Messrs Sarkis Der Bedrossian and Stepan Kerkyasharian after partaking in the 6th Diocese Representatives Assembly at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin from 6-9 June 2017 bringing together the worldwide Armenian Apostolic Church.
The meeting was held under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians and attended by 150 delegates that included Bishops of the Mother See and the Hierarchal Sees; Primates of the Dioceses of Armenia and Diaspora; Locum Tenens; Pontifical Delegations; members of the Supreme Spiritual Council; elected clergy and lay representatives from the Hierarchal Sees, Pontifical Delegations and Dioceses around the world. The aim of the meeting was to affirm the constitutional and administrative grounds to benefit church life and the efficiency of the Church mission.
