Diarentarach was celebrated in the Church of Holy Resurrection on the Eve of the Feast of the Lord’s Presentation to the Temple on Thursday 13 February at 7.00 p.m. with a unique church service.
A special blessing service was also be held for newlyweds with the lighting of candles followed by an old tradition of lighting a bonfire to resemble the Lord’s light and warmth.
His Eminence Srpazan Haigazoun hosted an intimate reception for the newlyweds following the bonfire ceremony.
