The Consecration of the new Church Dome Cross took place on Sunday 16 May 2021, presided by His Eminence Archbishop Haigazoun Najarian. May God’s blessings be upon those whose faith and prayers have provided the Church of Holy Resurrection with such a beautiful addition. In particular the Genkahayr, Harout Jack Nercessian, who also donated the cross with his wife Rita and their children Jessica, Stephanie and Patrick.
The exquisite cross was designed by one of our own Sub-Deacons, Andre Vahagn Vartan-Boghossian who flew up from Melbourne for the special blessing.
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24
