The Good Friday services continued on 15 April 2022, with the Burial Service (Gark Taghman). This is one of the more beloved services of the Armenian people. During the service a representation of the tomb is decorated with candles and flowers, which the faithful bring as an offering to the crucified Lord of Glory.
One of the highlights was a very beautiful and haunting rendition of the hymn “Soorp Asdvadz”. The Worship of the Cross was performed once again, this time whilst kneeling.
The Requiem Service (Entanour Hokehankist) directly followed the Gark Taghman.
At the end of the service, the faithful were invited to venerate the tomb and to receive a flower
