On Saturday 2nd December 2017, His Grace Bishop Haigazoun Najarian presided over the Soorp Badarak at Alexander Nursing Home. Also in attendance were Reverend Father Avetis Hambardzumyan, Reverend Father Norayr Patanian and Reverend Father Bartev Karakashian.
His Grace Bishop Najarian delivered a comforting sermon and all the residents were offered Holy Communion. After Mass, a requiem service was conducted for the departed souls of benefactors and residents of the Facility. The annual service brought much comfort and joy to those at the Rest Home who are unable to attend the regular service at the Armenian Apostolic Church of Holy Resurrection.
Following Mass, the Bishop, Fathers and Deacons remained as luncheon guests in the dining room of the Rest Home.
